Oshakati community pitches in

A large group of Oshakati community members turned out yesterday morning to help clear bush from an area behind Oshakati Intermediate Hospital.

The clean-up follows a commitment by Oshana governor Hofni Iipinge during a tour of the hospital last week.

Iipinge vowed to personally pay volunteers to clear the area, improve the hospital's visibility and make space for the construction of a shelter for pregnant women.
