Official funeral for late Epafras Paulus

President Nangolo Mbumba has accorded an official funeral to the late Epafras Paulus.
A memorial service will take place on Wednesday, 29 January, at his home in the Onatshiku informal settlement in the Elim constituency of the Omusati Region. The burial service will be held on Thursday, 30 January, at the Elim cemetery.
“Paulus played a significant role during Namibia’s liberation struggle. He provided critical support to PLAN fighters, including offering his home as a refuge and storage for weapons, as well as using his vehicle to transport weapons to the Ombuga war zones,” reads a statement from the information ministry.
The late Paulus leaves behind a lasting legacy and is survived by his wife, 18 children, 88 grandchildren and 38 great-grandchildren.
