Nored suspends Shovaleka

Northern power distributor Nored has suspended its executive manager for stakeholder management, Toivo Shovaleka, with immediate effect.
In an internal memorandum circulated to staff, Nored acting CEO Kudumo Siremo clarified that the suspension does not imply guilt nor constitute a disciplinary measure. Rather, it forms part of a process to investigate the validity of certain claims made against Shovaleka, though the nature of these allegations was not disclosed.
Salmi Mvula has been appointed to act in Shovaleka’s position during the interim, the Ondangwa-based company told employees.
