Noa bail application postponed
The formal bail application of Onandjokwe medical doctor Dennis Iipumbu Noa has been postponed to September after his defence team requested more time to prepare the case.
Noa appeared before Magistrate Nelao Ya France in the Ondangwa Magistrate's Court yesterday, where the matter had been set down for a formal bail application. His legal representative, Biance Boois, told the court she had only recently taken over the matter and had not yet had an opportunity to obtain instructions from her client, making it impossible to proceed with the application.
Ya France ordered that Noa remain in custody pending the formal bail application in September.
Noa (31) is accused of allegedly raping a 26-year-old man at his flat at Onandjokwe Hospital over a week ago.
