New Rehoboth bypass to ease congestion
NEWS IN SHORT
The Roads Authority has officially opened the newly constructed two-lane bypass on the Windhoek–Rehoboth section of the B1 highway.
The project, aimed at improving traffic flow and easing congestion along one of Namibia’s busiest corridors, has been completed on schedule.
Motorists are urged to drive with caution as they adapt to the new route and to observe all signage and speed regulations. The RA has extended its appreciation to road users and nearby communities for their patience and cooperation throughout the construction period.
The project was executed by China Railway Seventh Group, with engineering consultancy provided by Lithon Namibia, under the supervision of the Roads Authority.
