National Assembly warns of fraudulent video on Facebook
The Office of the Speaker of the National Assembly has issued a warning to the public about a fraudulent video currently circulating on Facebook.
The video features an individual named Creola Kozey, who falsely claims that Honourable Dr Saara Kuugongelwa-Amadhila is inviting members of the public to join a government investment platform, which allegedly guarantees an income of N$400 000 per week.
The National Assembly said the video is artificially generated using AI technology and is part of an online scam designed to deceive and exploit the public.
"Honourable Dr Kuugongelwa-Amadhila is not involved in nor has endorsed any such scheme," a statement from the National Assembly said yesterday.
