NamPost urge adherence to grant payment schedule

Long queues were observed yesterday at NamPost in Okahandja, where beneficiaries waited to receive their social grant payments. Among those in line were parents accompanied by children with disabilities, many enduring the scorching heat as they waited for their turn.

According to the payment schedule for November, NamPost SmartCard old-age cash grants will be paid from 10 to 13 November, child and disability grants from 14 to 17 November, and the basic income grant from 18 to 19 November.

Namibian Sun observed that several beneficiaries had arrived ahead of their allocated dates, leading to overcrowding. Authorities have since urged recipients to visit their designated pay points only on the specified dates to ensure a smooth and orderly payment process.
