Missing man's body found

The body of a 71-year-old man reported missing last week was discovered stuck in a river near Kakuro village on Monday morning. Abel Albano, who disappeared from Karayi village in the Kavango West region on 6 August, was found by officers from the police's water wing at around 10:00.
Namibian Police Chief Inspector Raimbert Muronga said investigations are ongoing to determine the cause of death.
The deceased was positively identified by his daughter. Police have informed the next of kin, and the body has been taken to Nkurenkuru mortuary for a postmortem.
