Man in custody after girlfriend killed

A 33-year-old man was arrested after allegedly stabbing his girlfriend (31) to death in Wanaheda on Saturday. The woman's body was found lying in a pool of blood with two suspected stab wounds to the left side of her neck. 

Police said preliminary investigations indicate that the couple was last seen together at the deceased's cousin's residence at around 03:00 before returning home, where an argument allegedly led to the fatal attack.
