Kenyan man in court for Otjomuise murder

A Kenyan-born man (40) made his first court appearance Friday at the Katutura Magistrate’s Court in connection with the murder of Regina Kondombolo (33), whose body was discovered at a residence in Otjomuise Extension 2 last Monday.

Friday would have marked Kondombolo’s 34th birthday.

The accused, identified as Geoffrey Jeff Kasume, faces charges of murder, violating a corpse and defeating or obstructing the course of justice.

The matter was postponed to 24 April for further investigation, and Kasume was remanded in custody at the Windhoek Correctional Facility.
