Keeping Windhoek learners warm

The City of Windhoek officially handed over winter school jerseys to more than 500 learners from 39 schools in and around Windhoek on Tuesday.

The handover forms part of the 2026 Mayoral Winter Drive Initiative, led by the Office of the Mayor in partnership with the Windhoek Residents Mayoral Trust. it aims to help keep vulnerable learners warm throughout the winter season. Since its inception, the initiative has benefited more than 2 000 learners across the city.
