Iipinge funds debushing at hospital

Oshana governor Hofni Iipinge has pledged to take responsibility for clearing about five hectares of bush behind Oshakati Intermediate Hospital.

Speaking during a visit to the hospital yesterday, Iipinge said he will use his own funds to hire workers to debush the area. The aim is to make the hospital more visible and to construct a shelter for pregnant mothers. 

He noted that right now pregnant women suffer while waiting for services, even though there is unused land available.

The clearing is set to start next week.
