Young environmentalists in Eenhana are proving that waste doesn't have to be wasted.

The Eenhana Youth Environmental Work Group transforms discarded materials into decorative and reusable items, as well as paintings depicting climate change, selling their creations to earn an income.

The group showcased their work yesterday at the Ohangwena Environmental Education Regional Conference 2026 in Eenhana, drawing attention from officials and residents alike.
