Early-morning road rage brawl
Two motorists, including a taxi driver, were involved in a physical altercation on Mandume Ndemufayo Avenue in Windhoek at around 07:30 yesterday morning, during which one of the men was seen drawing a firearm and pointing it at his opponent.
The circumstances that triggered the confrontation remain unclear.
Under Namibia's Arms and Ammunition Act 7 of 1996, the unlawful display of a firearm in public may result in arrest, criminal prosecution and the revocation of a firearm licence.
