Donation boosts Khorixas school

Cornelius Goreseb High School in Khorixas on Friday received a donation of items worth N$158 108 from BME Metallurgy Namibia (Pty) Ltd.

The donation included fencing wire, watering cans, fertiliser, wooden poles, mathematics and science materials, textbooks and a printer, among other items.

Principal Kabajani Simataa said the donation from the company, which has long supported the school, would help teachers and learners and improve academic performance.

"I feel the donation comes at the right time, as learners are about to start with examinations," he said.

"This donation will help mostly with the less privileged," he added.
