China donates N$300 000 for hostel upgrade

Deputy agriculture minister Ruthy Masake this week announced a N$300 000 donation from China towards the renovation of the Sikosinyana Senior Secondary School hostel in the Zambezi region as she officially accepted her appointment as patron of the school.

“Your support is not merely an investment in infrastructure, it is an investment in the dreams, aspirations and future success of our children,” she said while thanking the Chinese government for the donation.

Masake said the funding will help provide learners with a safer and more conducive environment for learning, while reaffirming her commitment to supporting quality education and the development of young people.
