Chicago's Bar murder accused granted bail

Murder accused Gabes Shiimi (31) was granted bail of N$15 000 in the Windhoek Magistrate’s Court on Wednesday after spending 10 months in custody following his arrest in June last year in connection with the death of 35-year-old Nande Mulokoshi, who was allegedly struck by a stray bullet.

Magistrate Immanuel Udjombala ordered Shiimi to surrender his passport and report once a month to the Windhoek police station as part of his bail conditions.

The matter was postponed to 15 July for section 119 proceedings.
