SHORT NEWS
A 76-year-old woman, identified by the Erongo police as Ingrid Zincer, died of her injuries after the vehicle she was a passenger in was involved in an accident between Arandis and Swakopmund last Thursday.
According to an incident report released by the police on Sunday, Zincer and her husband (78) were driving about 30 kilometres toward Swakopmund around 21:00 when the accident happened.
It is reported that they were driving behind two trucks in their Volkswagen Touran before attempting to overtake. While overtaking, the driver lost control of the vehicle, rolling it several times.
