A 25% cut to the One Economy Foundation's operations budget is expected to reduce the number of young people the organisation can reach, although existing beneficiaries will continue receiving the same quality of support.

"The current funding constraints are likely to affect the number of new people that can be reached as opposed to the quality of services we provide," One Economy executive director Pauline Kahupi said.

She added that One Economy remains "fortunate to be dealing with this from a position of stability rather than crisis".

Kahupi said the foundation is expanding revenue generating initiatives, including hiring out facilities at its #BeFree Campus and strengthening fundraising efforts.
