#JustIn Seventh session of parliament resumes

The seventh session of the seventh Parliament which went into recess on 28 April, resumed today and will be in session until 13 July. The National Assembly noted in a statement that during the recess, various Parliamentary Standing Committees undertook oversight activities including the Parliamentary Standing Committee on Gender Equality, Social Development and Family Affairs that conducted public hearings on gender-based violence and femicide petitions (#Shutitalldown and other petitions).
