JUST IN: Former Keetmanshoop councilor, Gerrit 'Gertjie' Witbooi, was expelled from the Landless People's Movement (LPM) today effective immediately. The party cited recent incidences that occurred with the party and the burning of party symbols (flag) as the reason for his immediate removal from the party. Witbooi, who is out of the country, refused to comment on the situation.
