CLEAN-UP: More than 70 volunteers conducted a debushing campaign at Tsumeb State Hospital from 28 April to 2 May. The regional health directorate engaged a Tsumeb constituency councillor and organised the volunteers from the community to participate in this exercise. The cleaning is intended to prevent the spread of infections and ensure patient and staff safety. The regional directorate also approached the municipality to remove shrubs and grass once the clean-up is completed. The removal of bushes and grass in the surrounding facilities is recommended to prevent mosquito breeding. Photo: MoHSS

IN MEMORIAM: Hundreds of mourners gathered at Onankali Cemetery in the Oshikoto Region on Saturday to bid farewell to Brigadier General Wilbard Shikongo, who passed away on 16 April at the Tsumeb State Hospital.
