COLOURFUL MAKEOVER

COLOURFUL MAKEOVER: There’s a fresh spark of life at SPCA Windhoek, and it’s not just the wagging tails. In a shining example of corporate social responsibility in action, several Windhoek-based companies joined forces to revitalise the SPCA Windhoek’s meet-and-greet area. This project, rooted in a shared commitment to community welfare and animal care, highlights how businesses can make a meaningful difference beyond the boardroom. Over time, the area had seen better days. It was clear the space needed some serious TLC, not just for the animals but for the people coming in to meet them.

With community initiative Charitree taking the lead, several companies stepped in to help breathe new life into this important corner of the shelter. The result? A vibrant, pet-friendly space filled with colour, comfort and hope.

With dozens of pets currently up for adoption, from playful puppies and mellow seniors to curious cats, the space plays a key role in helping animals connect with the right people.

Participating businesses included Charitree CSI/CSR; Buildwise Aluminium, Glass, Blinds and Garage Doors; BeLocal Team Building, Events, and Driver Training; Inesfly Pest Control; Work4s Digital Jobcards, Equipment Monitoring, and Workflow Management; Lifestyle Laundrette; Adasmbier Purified Water; and Omnia Financial Consulting.

So if you’re thinking of adopting, now’s the perfect time to visit. The dogs are ready to play, the space is ready to welcome you, and who knows, you might just meet your perfect match.
