Stina Wu, DBN High Court mediation over N$68m fails
A High Court mediation between Stina Wu and the Development Bank of Namibia (DBN) over a N$68.4 million legal dispute ended without a settlement.
Wu, who was present at the mediation with full authority to settle, represents a group of defendants, including Marigold Hotel Developer (Pty) Ltd, Songgen Huang, First Wall Property Investment CC, and AH Helmsman Group Holding (PTY) Ltd.
According to a High Court mediation report, the session took place on 23 March and was led by court-accredited mediator Loini Ndilimeke Shikale.
The report confirms the talks were unsuccessful.
Court documents show the matter was referred for mediation on 2 March to see if the parties could settle the N$68.4 million claim.
The specific details of the mediation remain confidential, but Wu confirmed to Namibian Sun: "Currently, we would not comment as we are still in the process of mediation. Once that has been settled, we shall revert."
With the mediation concluded without resolution, the case now returns to the High Court for the standard legal process.
A status hearing has been scheduled for 7 April.
