With excitement around the upcoming Japan Rugby World Cup intensifying, Namibia will play their final warm-up match before the tournament kicks off on 20 September against the Southern Kings this weekend.With the global spectacle now about two weeks away, Namibia will be eager to test combinations and sharpen skills.Coach Phil Davies and captain Johan Deysel will be trying to build confidence before they head to Japan, where Italy, New Zealand, South Africa and Canada lie in wait in Pool B. In last week's warm-up match against the same opponents they face tomorrow, Namibia came out on top 28-22. This a positive, according to Namibia Rugby Union (NRU) president Corrie Mensah. “The players are expected to make the nation proud,” Mensah said.The Southern Kings are using the match as preparation for the upcoming Guineas PRO14 season.The competition is an annual one involving professional sides from Ireland, Italy, Scotland, South Africa and Wales. Namibia's players for tomorrow's match will be picked from the 31-man squad heading to Japan.
