Ané De BruinI am a huge fan of athletics and I’ve been doing high jump for the past three years now and this year I am challenging myself by putting a target of 1.75 m which I want to reach. I’d be proud of myself if I achieve it.Jemima BekkerWhat I want to achieve this year is to have the highest average in the item I’m participating in my group as well as my yearbook. It would be lovely if I could scoop a gold medal in swimming as well. I would also like to go jogging more often.Levalle UnderhillThe goal I set for myself is to go to nationals again this year as it was cut short last year. As I participate in the long jump, I would like to strengthen my hips and consistency in the approach and take-off as well.Mae Ellis My goals to achieve by the end of the year are to get a gold medal in high jump, get into the yearbook and achieve and maintain high grades. I want to enjoy high school and take life day by day as it comes.Brooklyn FordMy first goal this year is getting 83% in all my subjects as I will be grade 11, because this is quite a crucial grade for me. It’s either I make or break it. I’m hoping to get my full colours in high jump too.Grace RabieI want to tap into my fitness goals and push myself to see what I am capable of. I also want to be part of the school’s netball team. It will be fun if I can get a side holiday job to feel independent and have a sneak peek into the grown-up world.
