On 20 November, the world celebrated World Children’s Day, and the learners of Concordia College shared their views on the day as well as messages to the Namibian youth.
Appolonia Nepolo
I think this day is extremely important for children worldwide. It helps to direct the focus to the well-being of our children and their rights. Children are the future and through this day, we get to connect with children all over the world.
Monika Johannes
On this day, we celebrated World Children’s Day by being part of the official welcoming of Concordia College into the PASCHE-network schools, and I am grateful to each and every person who made this possible. Today we as children get to celebrate education and networking, and I could not think of a better way to celebrate this day.
Eva-Rakel Johannes
My message to other children is to continue to study hard. A wise woman once told me that education is extremely important for you and your future, so continue to study hard, but have fun and never forget to live life to the fullest.
Christo Eduardo
This day is extremely special to children across the world. Today we get to celebrate all children, and through this day, we get to create a platform for those who feel unheard or feel their opinions don’t matter. I encourage you to never lose hope and to continue to fight for what is right.
Helvi Nikanor
I am so grateful that the world has dedicated a day to celebrate our children and all that they have accomplished. Remember that there are many opportunities for you out there, so never give up and never lose sight of your dreams.
Tega Uugwanga
