Vocational training centre offers bursaries

The Ngato Vocational Training Centre (NVTC) in Kavango West is offering five bursaries and 25 study loans to deserving students. The NVTC special project will pay for three study years from level 1 to 3 and will cover only the course fees. The institution offers courses in office administration, welding and fabrication, electrical general, hospitality and tourism, plumbing and pipe fitting, agriculture/crop husbandry and horticulture. The institution will consider tertiary students who have an average pass mark of at least 55% in major subjects. Current grade 12 learners should submit their August 2014 results with good marks in mathematics, English, physical science or at least 16 points in grade 10 /12 final exams. Preference will be given to students with disabilities, orphans and vulnerable children. Students or their guardians must clearly demonstrate their ability to repay the loan. Interested students can get application forms at NVTC at Kapako, Kavango West. Applicants must study at Ngato VTC and study fields other than those listed above will not be considered.
