Two suspected poachers shot dead

Two suspected poachers were killed instantly and one critically wounded earlier this week in the Bwabwata National Park by a special anti-poaching unit after the poachers opened fire at the unit. Environment minister Pohamba Shifeta confirmed the incident this morning. “The poachers started firing at our forces and our forces responded with decisive fire power,” he said.
A fourth man was arrested and police confiscated three AK47 rifles and large amounts of ammunition following the shoot-out.
