Tobias names his top 10
A local boxing promoter shares his top 10 boxers of all time.

Prominent Namibian boxing promoter Nestor 'Sunshine' Tobias, who established what is known today as the MTC Nestor Sunshine Boxing and Fitness Academy, has shaped local boxing, having groomed some of the best boxers the country has ever seen.
Tobias trained world champions and has won numerous WBO awards over the years. He picked his top 10 Namibian boxers.
Harry 'Terminator' Simon
Namibia's first world champion, Simon also remains the country's only two-time weight division world champion.
He holds the longest undefeated streak in Namibian boxing history, remaining undefeated in 31 fights.
'I'm happy to have fought alongside him in the Springbok national team and was his sparring partner when he prepared for the fight against America's Ronald Wright. If Namibia had a hall of fame, he would definitely qualify as an inductee,' said Tobias.
Paulus 'The Hitman' Moses
Moses became Namibia's second world champion.
He went on to compete for another WBO International title against South Africa's Cassius Baloyi, which he won, and successfully defended five times against top quality opponents.
In 2018, he competed for the WBO World title against Raymundo Beltran and became the first Namibian boxer to fight in the US.
Moses has over 46 professional fights, winning 40 with 25 knockouts.
Paulus 'The Rock' Ambunda
Ambunda participated in the 2004 Summer Olympics. He became Namibia's third world champion in 2013.
He then won the WBO and IBF International titles against Cristian Palma and won the IBO super Bantamweight world title in 2015 against Argentine's Leandro and defended it twice.
His record stands at 27 wins and three losses.
Julius 'Blue Machine' Indongo
In 2002, he won the Namibian amateur national championship. After defending the WBO junior welterweight title a number of times, he defeated Russia's Eduard Troyanovsky in 2016 for the IBF and IBO world titles.
In April 2017, Indongo fought WBA world champion Burns and won a one-sided unanimous decision.
Indongo now has 23 wins with two losses.
Walter 'The Executioner' Kautondokwa
Dubbed Namibia's most powerful puncher, Kautondokwa holds an impressive record of 20 fights, 18 wins, with 17 by knockout, and two losses. He remains feared in the WBO middleweight division.
Jeremiah 'Low-Key' Nakathila
Nakathila is ranked number two on the WBO junior lightweight division. He held the title for several years and now holds the WBO global junior lightweight title.
He holds a record of 20 fights with only one loss suffered in Russia.
Mike 'Silent Assassin' Shonena
Shonena holds the WBO Africa Welterweight title and has already successfully defended it five consecutive times.
He is currently ranked fifth by the WBO and is set to fight for a world title in 2021.
Sakaria 'Desert Storm' Lukas
Lukas competed for Namibia at the 2010 Commonwealth Games in the Bantamweight division. He remains undefeated in 23 fights.
He held the WBO, WBA and IBF featherweight continental titles and was once ranked number two by the WBO.
Bethuel 'Tyson' Uushona
Uushona has held regional titles from the WBA and WBO and also fought for a Commonwealth title. With 36 wins, 10 losses and one draw, he has fought all over the world, and was once ranked number one by the WBO.
Nathanael Kakololo
Kakololo is considered the future of Namibian boxing, with 10 fights under his belt and only one loss. He currently holds the African Boxing Union feather title and has defeated opponents in style, with his latest being South Africa's Jeff Magagane in December 2019.

'It is a pity I couldn't do a top 15 because I would really have squeezed in Ali Nuumbembe who went to the UK to turn pro and won a Commonwealth title, but never really made it onto the world ratings of any sanctioning body. Local boxer Prince Naidjala has also done well in his prime as a top fighter and went to Japan to fight for a world title against Tomoki Kameda. And, of course, Lukas Ndafoluma, who is the man to watch, alongside Izinyoka Shikukutu,' Tobias said.
