DREADED WALK: A young man walks back to his homestead in rural Namibia after fetching water from a village nearby. Men and women walk long distances to collect water for drinking, bathing, cooking, and other household needs, many spend hours every day traveling to water sources, waiting in line, and carrying heavy containers - often several times a day.
