From top goals to beautiful assists and suffering defeats at the weekend, Namibian stars were in action for their foreign clubs.

More Namibian players than ever before appear to be getting game time this season. Their impressive form has been attributed to their hard work and commitment.

Brave Warriors forward Benson Shilongo is proving to be a great asset for his Egyptian side after scoring twice in Ismaily's 2-1 victory SC against La Viena FC in the Egypt Cup on Sunday.



Hotto on winning side

Meanwhile, Namibian star Deon Hotto is enjoying game time at Orlando Pirates following his big money move.

Already having scored four for his new club, the player is becoming a regular at the Buccaneers.

Hotto forced a good save out of Ezekiel Morake from his threatening free kick in a match Orlando Pirates secured a commanding 3-0 victory over Jwaneng Galaxy in the first leg of their Caf Confederations group stage playoff clash in Gaborone on Sunday afternoon.



Riaan Hanamub

Just days after scoring for his club, Hanamub's name is once again at the centre of things with an impressive display in his last match.

Hanamub provided an assist in Chippa United's 1-1 draw against Bloemfontein Celtic on Saturday.



Nyambe

Ryan Nyambe's Blackburn Rovers, on the other hand, lost 2-1 to Alex Neil's Preston North End on Friday at Ewood Park.

The Brave Warriors defender got a 6.1 rating when his team went down in the championship.
