Sheka Shone recently released visuals to his latest single, How Could She, shot by Black Cat Films.
Primarily a dancehall artist, he also taps into other genres like Afrobeat, R&B and Reggae.
With two albums under his belt, the musician is looking forward to extending his catalogue with two EPs he intends to release before the end of the year.
“One of my forthcoming projects is done already it will be called Wine and Leaves and will consist of 10 tracks.
“People should also look out for my collaboration project with Yamukongo, which will have six songs,” Shone announced, adding that he will soon let his fans know where these projects will be available.
To the next level
On what he is in the music game for, Shone, also affectionately known as Formula, said money isn't the goal for him - he wants to push Namibian dancehall music to the next level.
“My goal is to push Namibian dancehall music. I want Namibia to realise who the king of Namibian dancehall really is,” he said. He stressed that with his music, he wants to bring positive change to the world as he believes the world needs unity more than individual success. “My personal success could be 10 cars and a big house but that doesn't influence many people other than myself and those around me who benefit from that. I push this narrative through my music,” he said.
The musician fans to check out his music on SoundCloud and iTunes @ZombieExplorers.
