Say it
THE KOEVOET DEBATE
· I don't agree with Muchali Mulife’s letters (All Namibians deserve government protection. Asking the government to give ex-Koevoet and SWATF members veteran status and benefits. Those people were fighting against Swapo, their own brother and sister. They never fought for goods of the country. They got paid during that time by the colonial government. So please don't say that the ex-Koevoet and SWATF must also benefit, they kill even our people who were fighting for the peace which we are enjoying today. How will you feel if someone is saying a person who killed your innocent parents, who was fighting for Namibia’s freedom must be paid? We forgave them but we did not forget what they did. So what else do they want?
· Muchali Mulife, I salute you. You are talking the truth that the veteran affairs ministry must treat people the same. I joined the liberation struggle in 1987 while I was 15 and now I don’t qualify as veteran because in 1989 I was only 17.
TRIBAL FAVOURS
President Pohamba, why is it that only one tribe in this country is being favoured ahead of others?
UNDERCOVER COPS
Why can’t the undercover police arrest those foolish crooks who try to rob people of their hard earned money? These guys are operating from certain areas and I think the police know them. They normally have piles of money which I think is fake. The police must act now.
DEFECTING TO SWAPO
What is wrong with Swapo Party? Why boring us with Hafeni Nghinamwami resigning from RDP and rejoining Swapo? Are they not aware this is the same Nghinamwami who resigned over a year ago in January last year promising he will cross over with over 1000 members. To start with, where are those 1 000 today? Nangolo Mbumba, you spoke well about seasonal members and for sure they will do it soon or later. Shame.
