Rossmund Bowling Club gains valuable points

The women’s and mixed team of the Rossmund Bowling Club (RBC) gained valuable experience over the past weekend when both teams overcame Tsumeb Bowling Club (TBC). The men’s team, however, lost against their counterparts from the North and are now slowly but surely losing sight of the top of the log. Only three games were played. Especially the RBC ladies had a day to remember as they thrashed their opponents 30:10. The win saw the club from the coast move to third place in the log, just four points short of the leading ladies from TransNamib Bowling Club (TNBC). In the mixed division, the Rossmund players were made to work hard for their win. The evenly contested match eventually ended 16:15 in their favour. Like their female club compatriots, the mixed team moved to third place on their log. The gap between them and the log-leading Eros Bowling Club (EBC) is a mere two points. In other action, the Rossmund men crashed to a 19:13 defeat against TBC. It was a bitter loss, leaving them eight points behind the log leaders. The National League will continue this weekend with the following games taking place: Saturday, April 5 TransNamib Field Tsumeb Bowling Club v. TransNamib Eros Bowling Club Namib Park v Eros Bowling Club Windhoek Country Club Rossmund Bowling Club v Windhoek Country Club Sunday, April 6 Windhoek Bowling Club Tsumeb Bowling Club v Windhoek Bowling Club Windhoek Country Club Namib Park Bowling Club v Windhoek Country Club Eros Bowling Club Rossmund Bowling Club v Eros Bowling Club
