Red Bull Music presents African Beats
With 10 of Namibia's best artists, including the show's headliner Gina Jeanz, Red Bull aims to create a platform that will promote the music scene in Namibia.
Red Bull Namibia believes that the industry is dominated by male artists, hence the reason for having females headline its African Beats event that will take place tomorrow at the Windhoek Showgrounds.
DJ Gina Jeanz, who is the first Namibian to grace the famous Rocking Daisies stage in South Africa, will be leading the pack.
Her futuristic approach to music is what puts her on the radar all over the world, as she inspires millions through her sound.
Equally, South African star Shekhinah is a true testament to the future of African music.
She has been making waves all over South Africa and that can be backed up by her recent win at the SAMAs where she scooped three awards.
Other artists on the line-up include KP Illest, Lioness, Skrypt, Chinchilla and DJ Alu, just to mention a few.
Red Bull aims to make the festival an annual one to promote local music and motivate artists to produce music.
Tickets are N$150 at the door and N$350 for VIPs, and are available at webtickets.com.na.
