Rebooting graduates
The International Training College Lingua (ITCL) recently hosted its 2021 graduation ceremony.

The International Training College Lingua (ITCL) held its 2021 graduation ceremony at the Windhoek Country Club on Friday, 7 May 2021.
The college this year produced an astounding 636 graduates. The Bachelor of Business administration with an NQF level 7 produced the most graduates, with 42 students graduating from the field. From the 42 graduates Mhlotshwa Isabel stood out academically and was awarded the best student ward in the field. Matcovich Ronald Nicolai was the overall best performing student of 2020.
The chairperson of the ITCL board, Juanita Klasen, expressed her happiness.
“Be curious, seek wisdom before wealth, knowledge is power and a good long-term investment in your life,” she said.
The minister of information and communication technology, Peya Mushelenga, who holds more than 10 qualifications, delivered the keynote speech.
Mushelenga said education remains the most important tool to breach the inequality that runs through our society and that it is through education that we can realise the goal of a non-racial, non-sexist and democratic society.
Windhoek mayor Job Amupanda also gave a speech. Dr Amupanda said it is very difficult to talk to graduates during these distressing times. He asked that the graduates engage him in a truthful conversation to see what can be done.
Amupanda said everything looks very bad in the country but he encouraged the graduates to be the rebooting generation and to take revolutionary steps in changing the status quo of the country.
