PG to decide on Namoloh death crash

The Office of the Prosecutor General (PG) is set to receive a culpable homicide docket from the police, after they investigated Local and Regional Government Minister Charles Namoloh in connection with a car accident in which a toddler was killed. The PG’s office will receive the docket next month and a decision will then be made about whether Namoloh should be prosecuted. Police spokesperson Inspector Slogan Matheus said they had completed the culpable homicide probe. “I can tell you now that much of the groundwork has been completed regarding the investigation of that case. “We must get four statements and then by end of next month we should submit the docket to the PG for a decision on whether to prosecute or not.” Namoloh refused to comment on the matter. “I am on leave. Please don’t ask me those questions,” Namoloh said before hanging up. The accident happened on a gravel road near Odibo village. It resulted in the death of a three-year-old girl, who was run over while crossing the road. WINDHOEK ELVIS MURARANGANDA
