Peacemakers - a dynamic duo
After years of packaging their music in the form of EPs and mixtapes, the duo is finally ready to put out a fully-fledged album.
Collectively known as Peacemakers, one could say that Kid Wasabi and Sonny Vision are underrated musicians, but let's be honest, it's the underrated ones who have a habit of eventually taking over. So tjil had a talk with the duo to find out a little more about the album they are working on.
They announced that their album is titled Cosmic Womb and is slated for release in a few months. Even though this will be their debut, overall, Cosmic Womb will be their fifth musical project.
Asked how it is different from their previous works, Kid Wasabi shared that on this album they are delving into making something that is more female-oriented and laid-back. “Once the album is out, you will understand why we decided to name it Cosmic Womb.
“We are not rushing the recording process of this album and everything we are going to put out will be put out with a strategy,” said Kid Wasabi.
Sonny Vision added that the decision to draw inspiration from women for this project is important at this point of their career. “In our previous projects, we have always told stories from our perspective, but this time we are working with more female artists so the energy is different.
“We are really looking forward to sharing this body of work with our fans, so follow our pages on social media for release dates,” said Sonny Vision.
