Outjo man stabs man over TV game

A man was stabbed in Outjo by a 20-year-old woman on Saturday after a fight over a TV game they were playing.
According to the police, it is alleged the fight broke out between the two when the man lost the game and the woman stabbed him in the back. He was transported to a hospital in Windhoek.
In a separate incident at Outjo, on Sunday an unidentified and decomposed burnt body was found in the bushes behind the Bravo location in Etoshapoort.
It was observed that the body was there before it was burnt by a wildfire in the area, which occurred on Wednesday.
In another incident at Aminus reserve in Onderombapa, a 26-year-old woman sustained about nine wounds to her head on Friday after she was stabbed with a knife by her 21-year-old boyfriend.
It is alleged that a confrontation erupted between them after the man saw his girlfriend with another man. The suspect was arrested.
Man shot by brother
At Okakarara, a man was arrested on Saturday after he allegedly assaulted his 35-year-old wife with an unknown object on 29 May. This resulted in her death at the Okakarara hospital.
In another incident at Ohangwena in the Onangubu village, a 32-year-old man was shot and wounded by his 45-year-old brother on Saturday. It is alleged that the suspect also pushed his brother out of a vehicle before he proceeded to Onhuno Road traffic checkpoint, where he was pulled over by the police officer on duty. He allegedly complied with the police officer’s instructions and as the police officer was walking over to the vehicle, he heard a gunshot and it was observed that suspect shot himself inside the vehicle. Both brothers were rushed to Engela District Hospital for medical treatment where the suspect - identified as Pombili Hauwanga - succumbed to his injuries.
