Oteya and Friends concludes in style

There are so many claims about lack of unity in the local entertainment industry which just may have been proven otherwise. Award-winning, and one of the most consistent artists in the industry, Oteya proved as to why she is called a queen at her weekly project titled Oteya and Friends, the final show. Since the beginning of the year, Oteya, in collaboration with Chopsi's bar, has been, every Wednesday having mini concerts that included an unknown guest performer at the end of the night.

Artists including The Dogg, Samuele Ngodji, Paradox, Twazi's to Lady May and Top Cheri have featured as guest performers whom the crowd only found out about at the venue, during the performances.

Oteya is breaking boundaries and doing things out of the norm which gives hope to the industry and for music lovers getting used to live performances at concerts. The feedback on social media platforms by local music lovers has been overwhelming and hopefully a round two of the mini concerts will make an appearance soon. The final concert saw Oteya bring out several friends including House Guru Gang, Lioness, Chester and Meta, who all put on burning hot performances.
