Nored builds central store at Ondangwa

The Northern Regional Electricity Distributor (Nored) is building a central equipment store at Ondangwa, which is expected to be completed before the end of the year.
The company's head of marketing and communication, Simon Lukas, said the depot will be the company's main store for material and equipment.
He declined to say what the cost of the project is.
“As part of our centralised store management, we are busy with the construction of a centralised facility in Ondangwa to serve as the main store for all Nored materials and equipment.
“The project will be completed this year and all detailed information will be provided at the commissioning ceremony scheduled to take place after the completion of the project,” Lukas said.
Construction details
The construction is being done by Ndakalimwe Investment with Seelenbinder Consulting Engineers doing the engineering work.
The site is situated in the Ondangwa Industrial Area.
Incorporated in 2001, Nored operates in eight northern regions: Zambezi, Kavango East and West, Kunene, Oshana, Ohangwena, Omusati and Oshikoto.
