NNPC starts operations
Namibia National Paralympic Committee (NNPC) today commenced with their operations for the year 2018.
The committee hopes for a bigger and better year for all its athletes countrywide.
“We will start of by taking part in the athletic Namibia Grand Prix with the first leg in Oshakati on the 20 January.
“We will have the wheelchair racer going in February to South Africa for the Outeniqua wheelchair challenge.
“NPC is very excited about this year and we hope that it will bring great results,” secretary-general of NNPC Michael Hamukwaya said.
He further announced that the NNPC will start preparing athletes for is the Nedbank challenge to be held in March in South Africa.
Hamukwaya noted that the Nedbank Challenge will give them an opportunity to unearth new talent.
“Finally our elite athletes will compete in the IPC Grand Prix in Europe as from June.”
