Mr and Miss A. I. Steenkamp revamped

A NIGHT TO REMEMBER: The glitzy and glamorous pageant took place on 1 March at the Immanuel Shifidi school hall. The last Mr and Miss A.I. Steenkamp was held in 2010. The school hasn’t had this event for that long and has decided that it will be reintroduced after its 50th birthday celebrations. The majority of the contestants were in grade six and seven. ‘Good, better, best, may I never rest until my good is better and my better is best’ was the theme of the event. The teachers at the school use it as a motivation not only when the learners are modelling but also when they are busy with schoolwork. Mr and Miss A.I. Steenkamp are Emma Mujoro and Uasora Tjirare.
