DIEHARD FANS: Loyal supporters of Manchester United recently held a party at Paaltjies to celebrate the English club winning its 20th domestic league title last season. The fans also used the time to reflect on the career of long-serving Alex Ferguson, who retired at the end of this season after 27 years in charge on the Manchester team. According to Vincent Richard (in blue), who was the organiser of the event, the turnout was satisfactory although he still gets calls from fans asking for another party, given that this one was on short notice.
