Luis bows out of BBA

Namibia’s Luis Munana was evicted from Big Brother Hotshots on Sunday, alongside Rwanda’s Arthur and Ghana’s Kacey Moor. This fourth eviction of the season was the first that didn’t feature any of the ladies, with sole female nominee Sheillah surviving eviction. In an interview with tjil from Johannesburg yesterday, Luis said he missed all his friends back home in Namibia. The burning topic, however, was Luis’s sensual kissing with Mozambique’s Mira on the show. Luis was adamant that he was single when he left for Big Brother Africa. Asked whether there are any long-term prospects for him and Mira, Luis said if Mira is willing to try something, he will be too. “I haven’t seen her for weeks so I don’t know what space she is at, but she knows how I feel about her and I look forward to seeing her,” he said. The two shared some intimate moments and there were even insinuations that they might have had sex in the house. “We were just cuddling. I would never have sex on a reality television show. Both Mira and I have too much respect for ourselves and our families,” he said. At some point Luis wanted to quit the show. “I am all about self-awareness. I was feeling a lot of negativity and the competition at the time didn’t seem worth losing myself and my sanity,” he said. Luis, who arrives in Namibia today, told tjil that he looks forward to returning to his television show and that he intends taking the show continental. “I have big dreams and I am willing to put in the hard work,” he said. While Luis was popular on the show for his bubbly spirit, BBA fans on the show’s forums say they will miss his million-dollar abs. This week six housemates are up for eviction.
