Large stash of drugs seized in Kleine Kuppe
An early morning raid by members of the Namibian drug law enforcement unit on Friday morning in Kleine Kuppe uncovered a smorgasbord of drugs, currently valued at around N$200 000 and led to the arrest of four suspects.
In addition to skunk, MDMA, LSD, ecstasy, magic mushrooms, cocaine, Cat, schedule five medications and steroids, the drug law enforcement officers seized needles, a firearm and ammunitions and a cell phone.
A German woman, a Namibian man and two South African men were arrested during the raid.
Chief Inspector Kaunapawa Shikwambi explained that the drugs are still being counted and the value of the total haul could increase as a consequence.
The detainees are scheduled to appear in the Windhoek Magistrate's Court today on numerous drugs related and other charges.
