KK or Hadago for the BBA House?

You! Yes you, the creature reading this. You still can't believe that I just called you a creature, well join the club; people have been picking their jaws off the floor over words I've uttered to them for a decade.The rumour mill has been busier than pastors and priests in northern Namibia during December's wedding season; the rumour mongers have been putting in overtime. Word on the street is that one of our socialites will represent Namibia in this year's edition of the television reality Show Big Brother Africa. If I can divert your attention away from the rumours for just a few seconds, what if you had the power to pick our next representative in Big Brother Africa? Wouldn't that be great, I start feeling like I have attention deficit disorder just imagining the possibilities!Who would I pick if I had the choice? Well, I would pick Kazenambo Kazenambo. Please pick your jaw up from the floor, as I said before, don't be shocked by what I say. The honourable known as KK would be a great representative for Namibia; he is well versed in our cultures and speaks his mind. But then of course that might also get him in trouble, he might just call the other housemates hungry Africans and tell the producers that he doesn't need the US$300 000 grand prize. But I still stand firm in my opinion that he would be a great choice, unless anyone has better ideas. We can't necessarily send Robbie the Brave Warriors mascot, he already has the mascot gig and Big Brother would definitely have his hands full with him.Then I thought to myself, why don't we send the Prime Minister? Yes, you can pick your jaw up again. Why not send Prime Minister Hage Geingob? I'm sure President Pohamba can run the show while he's gone, he could use the opportunity to scout for a potential first lady. The man has style, picks the right sunglasses and hats, and matches his ties to his suits. What more can you ask for? But considering that he has obligations, he probably would never go to Big Brother, the other comrades would never hear of it.That basically limits the options and leaves me scratching my head as to who would make the perfect candidate. I can't go because I've got better things to do than sit around all day doing nothing in a house full of television cameras with a microphone strapped to my waist (no pun intended). We can't send Lady May, we've already used that card and now the whole of Africa thinks Namibian women can exercise in pink heels. After the potential candidates dried up, I considered Shikololo Enkondombolo. I mean the name says it all, the alpha rooster would surely dominate and possibly either burn down the house or get sent home early for a fracas with a fellow housemate.And then it hit me that it really doesn't matter who represents Namibia in Big Brother Africa: The Chase. Two things are assured: number one, our representative would have to deal with the judgemental nature of the Namibian public. If he/she excels, we would proudly sing their praises to the heavens. However, if they let the nation down by engaging in unbecoming behaviour they would be labelled all sorts of things from imperialist tool to disgrace to the nation . Number two; there would certainly be another voting fiasco that would leave half of Africa scratching their heads and going What the **** just happened , so on that rather unbalanced note, let the games begin. If I were you I'd stay out of trouble; if you see trouble coming towards you, then walk the other way.
