Kinda to serve up boxing buffet

The Kinda Promotions is organising a crackerjack boxing event that will feature national and international pugilists.
It will take place on 5 October at the NamPower Convention Centre in Windhoek.
Namibian boxers Sacky Amutjaa and Kapena Naindjala will headline the main event.
Eight undercard bouts are expected that will feature some of Namibia's most promising young boxers.
Kinda Nangolo of Kinda Promotions said he will announce the other boxers who will be in action on the night within the next few days.
The promoter invited all Namibians to come in their numbers to support the boxing stable.
“I am still busy planning everything and I am sure that the fights will be sanctioned in the days to come.
“As a promoter, I do not have a problem with the boxing control board and that is a good thing for me.
“I promise you that this is going to be an event to remember, because the fighters will give their all on the night,” Nangolo said. The Kinda Promotions last held a boxing event in May at the Wanderers sports field, and has managed to stay afloat, despite not having a fixed sponsor.
“Other boxing promoters are having fixed sponsorships, but I continue to struggle to stage these boxing events since 2008.
“I would like to thank everyone who has helped me during my time as a promoter.
“It is not easy to promote these fights, because they cost so much money,” Nangolo added.
He also pleaded for corporate and individual assistance in order to host a successful event next month.
“If there is anyone who is willing to assist me during these difficult times, I will highly appreciate that. It is no secret that times are tough and any little contribution will be valuable.”
