Keeping it real

Today, I want to address music fans who trash talk artists for not being financially stable. Ever since Apple Music came to Namibia, I have seen social media posts by fans, stating that they are streaming so and so's music just for that artist to be able to afford food, clothes, studio equipment and the like.



These jokes are really in bad taste, man. I don't understand why some people feel good about bringing down musicians like this.



An artist put their work out there to make you feel good at some point in your life and you are proud to belittle them just because they aren't popping right now or you stopped enjoying their music? I really don't think that's okay.



There's already so much negativity out there, let's be nicer towards each other.
